Velux Problem

I wonder if someone advise me where to start looking for a problem with a velux window leak (see attached photo). I started noticing the staining over the winter period, as seen the stain is on the bottom right hand corner of the ceiling. Thank you in advance.

Plenty of photos of the outside are required, repost in the roofing section. What's the pitch?

Thank you for your reply, I will do that. The pitch..not sure. It has been ok for the last eleven years. There is another next to it which is fine.

It may just need the drainage channels clearing out.

Thank you for your reply. As advised earlier I am going to get up on the roof and take some photos of the exterior. Could you expand on your answer please ? Are the drainage channels at top and bottom of the window ?

Without maintenance the side channels and back gutter can get blocked with leaves / moss which impedes the water drainage .
