Veritas alarm, help please!

Hi this is my first post

We have just moved into a house which has a veritas alarm installed. The previous owner did not leave a manual.

We had been using it with no problems but at the weekend activated the alarm when opening the garage door (we didn't know there was a sensor in there!). We can set it but now the alarm sounds immediately when entering the front door (when the sensor in the hall picks up movement) rather than giving the delay tone. A red light shows up as 'Zone 2'

Is some sort of overall reset required?

No probably contact on entry door stuck , try tapping the contact , set system and see if it now starts the entry timer , if so replace contact ASAP.
