Virus help

M

marsaday

I have a virus on my computer which is making the computer ask for my full banking password as opposed to 3 letters.

I have scanned the computer with avg, housecall, f-secure, and anti malware and all say it is clean.

i need to get it professionally cleaned says the bank.

Does anyone know where i can take it and what it will cost.

thanks

I think your cookie has expired/been deleted.

When you log on is it asking for any other details?

A bank would not tell you to clean your computer! I think you have a phishing website. Go into (if you have Internet Explorer), Tools, and remove cookies..or even reset to standard..or download adaware, this does the job for you, and CCleaner. run that. But make sure you download from legit sites.

i had to spend a lot of time cleaning the computer to get rid of the malware. its gone now, but took days to do on and off. there are specialist sites which help you out fully.

i have malware and ccleaner, but i needed hijack and other stuff to get rid of the stuff and go into safe mode to do some stuff.

all sorted now.
