I have a vita spa hot tub been working fine but sometimes when I open the lid there is no power , press the buttons on control panel and nothing!

Then come back to it later and it’s running through it’s cycle and working fine all pumps, jets, heater everything works

Checked all breakers and trip switches and all good

So it has power then goes off and then power comes back on ??

Has anybody incountered a similar problem? Or cause

Many thanks

Yes but there’s no power even now just checked so I can’t turn it on just comes on on it’s own?

Not that then. Is it less than 6 years old? If so call the retailer you bought it from. Look up Consumer Rights Act. If bought before 1st October 2015 the Sale of Goods Act applies. You have six years protection.

Overheat stat on the pump that simply disconnects the power? Has this only happened since this hot weather arrived?

Pretty much yes!! Happened when the hot weather came

Is there anything that can be done!

My guess would be you have a loose neutral connection somewhere in the supply (consumer unit , isolator or connection to the hot tub ).

I think I have found the fault once the filter cycle starts it should only use jet 1 but a few minutes into the cycle it starts jet 2 as well and the cycle goes for 2 hrs at a time so I think it’s overheating and switching off but I can just press jet 2 off and it runs fine!

So wondering if anybody knows of this fault and what to do

Many thanks

Not the answer!!!

Why are you so frightened of exercising your legal rights? It's faulty.
