i was asked by another workman this morn about a fault.when his hot water is on everything seems o.k. as soon as he puts his heating on his gas fire goes out.gas is approx 6m in 22mm from meter to boiler.

Perhaps the fire is OK with the heating on (lower gas demand) but goes out with a hot water demand (high gas consumption)
Check the meter control valve is fully open.
Otherwise phone 0800 111 999 as it sounds like low gas pressure.

thats what the puzzle is.apparently with hot water its fine. p.s i havent been to the job.
