i have a vokera compact 24 that's giving us central heating but no hot water, it's been this way for 2 weeks and the landlords taking an age to get things sorted, any ideas what the problem might be?
First of all check the pressure gauge on the left hand side, should be between 1 and 2 bar, does the boiler fire up when you open a hot water tap as it may be the hot water flow switch.
Pressure does keep dropping over a few days but i have been monitoring it, it's been doing that for nearly a year, and the boiler doesn't appear to fire up for the hot water tap, only for the heating, how much would a replacement part be, if that's what it is? Not long before all this started there was also dirt coming out off the hot tap, any connection do you think?
