Have seen DHW HE taken out by mains pressure. On occasions, high mains pressure HW overpowers HW from a shower unit. Answer is to run cold tap as well.

Cold water pressure can be high in Glasgow.
 
We don't have dhw heat ex probs with the many lineas round here. Our mains is seldom more than 3 bar.

knobs, pre blue line sit valves, front seal on DV, thermisters in that order. Only needed one pcb.

Obviously venturi has to be cleaned at each service which is a chaw as fan has to be slid forward to obtain access. But failure to clean it is cowboy servicing.

why almost no one does it is a mystery, its only 11 screws and 5 minutes of your time.
