Hi guys,
My vokera linea 24 has recently started to lose pressure, I topped up boiler to 1 - 1.5 bar but after couple hours pressure is about 0.5 bar.
I checked pipe outside the building and it's leaking.
I found that valve http://boilersparesdirect.co.uk/parts-online/shopexd.asp?id=61548
Is it hard to replace it???
Can anyone help, please??
Thank you.

I found a cheaper one ;)

what ever you do turn water off first

Why?

The new valve will come with the black plastic bit ;)

To drain the water from the boiler, pull the black plastic bit.

When the water stops coming out fit the new valve.

in case some thing goes very wrong then only limted amount of water will come out

Ahh..i see.

What you meant was....isolate the boiler via the flow and return valves.

That usually ends with a couple of extra leaks and a trip to get some new isolating valves which in itself is a pain because there is more than on type.

I would leave well alone, What could possible go wrong

go to Vokera`s website and dpwnload the manual for free

follow instructions for PRV replacement TO THE LETTER

you will be fine ;)
