My vortices fan has stopped working, I think its the motor as it has been making a terrible racket for past two years now, surprised it lasted this long tbh. I was thinking of getting a like for like replacement. I believe my model is

Does anyone have experience of these? Is this something I can tackle on my own or does it require electrician?

Why not remove your existing fan and repair it? It could just be a bit of muck caught around the impeller. Leaving it for two years would not have improved it.

If its really dead it may be easier to buy a new one. FYI There is a long-life version of the Vortice Ariett T.

Thanks, my real question is if I need electrician for this job, I heard there are some regulations about electrics in the bathroom etc
