Interpretation, but would a wago not be number 1? The join us within a suitable accessory, but that accessory is not within a suitable enclosure itself?
No. The "appropriate product standard" requires that the joint (itself using an acceptable connector) must be in a suitable/appropriate enclosure, in order to qualify it as 'maintenance-free" (hence allowed to be non-accessible).
