Wall hung basin not levelling

I have fixed my wall hung semi pedestal basin to the noggin so I can get an idea of where to run hot cold pipes and also waste

While doing so, the front to back level is way out. The stud wall leans slightly down into bathroom, but only slightly, not a massive lean.

What could be causing the basin to be so out?

The noggin is flush with stud wall face so is slightly leaning in.
Should levelling the noggin be my first step?

Don't understand how it's so far out on the level..

The sink is a 'mode' 600mm from Victoria plumb

Is the front of the basin actually meant to be 'level' with the rear. To confirm if this is the case, remove the basin, lay it face down on the floor then place a set-square against the rear (fixing) face and confirm this is truly vertical to the floor. If it isn't then the basin front edge is meant to be 'low'. However if the rear face is vertical them you need to identify where the problem actually is. Have you by any chance been supplied with a pedestal basin rather than a wall-hung unit, they are quite different

It appears that there is a slight gap when the set square is level so it must be sloping.... Is this common? Just thought it may look odd...

forgot to say, it is actually a wall hung SEMI PEDESTAL - would this make a difference?

You'll notice a lip (at the floor) This lip prevents the basin sitting correctly unless you fit a packing plate so that the lip does not contact the wall to which the basin is fixed. Are you certain it's not a pedestal model.

Once the pedestal is underneath it will sit fine. I guess there is a slight angle so it touches the wall when on the pedestal. Put the pedestal on and then see if it sits horizontal

Show a photo of the full basin underside to confirm its design intent

Think it just needs setting up with the pedestal and then it should line up fine. Pedestal flush against the wall and basin aligned to touch the back wall. There is usually a bit of play to get it to sit horizontal.

If you can put vertical pieces all the way down to the floor it would be stronger. Depending on where the holes are for the pedestal you may be able to screw them to the internals of the studs that are there

Should the semi pedestal sit comfortably in grooves on the underside of the sink? It feels as though I'm just placing the semi pedestal under the sink with no matching up... Is this normal?

I have got th semi pedastal.. just thought it should hang properly without. I've temporarily levelled the sink with a piece of timber shoved under, so I'm trying to get the pedestal under but it doesn't seem to fit flush in any moulding. Is it literally just meant to go under roughly central?

You need the back of the basin flush to the wall for full support, if you do that and look from either side, does the back plate of the basin look square to the back/top of the basin or is it out of square? If it's square then I would just level it left to right, the fall to the front may just be the design.

If its out of square then casting may be out.
