Hi, I’m replacing an old en suite shower and have taken down two sides of plasterboard but on the back wall it’s a different material. It’s thin, cement like and has a mesh core, with the remanence of a black coating.
Questions…..What is it? And what is the best way for me to tile over it?
Behind this thin layer appears to be brick.
Any help would be appreciated
