Hi. I'm looking for sealant that has the same qualities as low modulus neutral cure silicone (ie high flexibility good adhesion to masonry) yet is paintable. Would greatly appreciate some direction on this.
 
Typically, you dont paint brick or stone. Sealing brick or stone with waterproofer's can also cause difficulties.

Anyhow, maybe the Painters forum could help you?
 
Wickes do one that is general purpose adhesive and sealent. It's one of the new modified acrylics. Not cheap at over a fiver per tube. Frame sealent is much cheaper.
 
I've found the old acrylic frame sealant cracked. Are the new ones as good as silicone?
 
The new stuff is supposed to last for much longer. It actually feels like silicone but is paintable.
