Wall Starter Kits - Use full height?

I'm going to use these to block a door way with thermalite blocks (onto a thermalite existing wall).

Should I use them full height?

Or would would one 1.2m length each side on the 2m high opening be OK?

I wouldn't bother with that expense for this job. Some frame cramps fixed to the existing blockwork will be fine.

Or even knock two 100mm nails per side into the joints every 450mm (two course of blocks)

Thanks for the replies.

I did consider frame cramps but the price of the wall starter kits from screwfix were good value at a £10 for a twin pack and 10 ties.
(Wall cramps were about a £1 each ..)

The nail idea is simple ... I would be worried about cracking a block?

You should be able to get frame cramps for about 20p each, but nails are fine. If you use cut nails into the bed joints you shouldn't crack the blocks.

just build it with a 1200mm level,put the level across tap the blocks to it , why use frame cramps nails and stuff lol
