Could anyone give me the standard sizes (inc thickness) and spacing for wall straps for the garage part of my development. The garage width is 3.3 x 11 metres which I am putting a 17 degree pitched (gable end) concrete tile roof. I am using 100x50 rafters sitting on a 100x50 wall plate. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Holding down bent straps are normally spaced 1.8m - 2m and are 5mm x 30mm x 1200mm galvanized mild steel.

Restraint straps (same spec as above but 1500m long) are also spaced at maximum 2m and must cross three joists/rafters with solid noggins between.
