I need to install wallpaper and then remove it a week to a month later. I\\\'d like it to come down easily, without damage, if that is possible. It\\\'s expensive, hand painted wallpaper. I know it helps to use a wall covering primer. Is there something besides the usual paste/adhesive that would work?

I have an idea - and I don't know whether this would work - but going on the advice I've been getting re oil-based and water-based paints, you could try painting the surface first with an oil-based paint. Then put on your wallpaper using ordinary paste. Because water doesn't mix with oil, the oil in the paint will stop the paper adhering properly, but hopefully just long enough for your temporary purpose.
