Wanna replace my tatty hallway carpet

Laid this carpet myself with underlay to prevent noise on the laminate annoying people downstairs. Wanna replace the carpet, shall I use a longer run if carpet or would Turkish rugs fit? Closer fit to walls the less likely noise will be made e.g. things being dropped onto Laminate

Well he laid a few strips, (scraps?), of carpet on the floor. He didn't it was fitted.

Edit: I had just posted my reply and decided to see the OP's name, because Keitai came into my head. And yes, I discovered it was Keitai after all.

You may need a roll, 4m wide - unless you can find someone able to carry out a professional join in carpet.

No, over 3m L to R, and top to bottom. He needs either a single piece 4x4, or to carry out a joint.

He may get away with a 4m x 3m but only if the shop gives him a generous 3m length on a 4m wide piece and will have to take care when rolling out and cutting to shape.

I make it around 87 + 300 x 200 + what might be as much a 180.

The drawing lacks some essential measurements, to be completely certain.

But you can deduce the size of the corridor. I am quite sure the OP is ordinary sized.
