Wanted - 30mm chipboard piece

Hi, I need to insert approx. 700mm of tiled worktop to replace a cooker with a gas hob. The existing baseboard is 30mm chipboard so that would be ideal, 700m X 600mm. I have the tiles and will be getting a 600mm base unit to go in the gap to replace a cooker, plus a bit of filler panels either side. The actual width will be a little less that 700mm when I've taken it all apart.

Is 30mm chipboard available anywhere ? or an alternative board ?

If there's a Wickes near you, they can supply 18 and 12mm chipboard, which can be simply PVA glued together.

You could use 30mm worktop instead. It depends what tools/skills you have or the relative costs.
