washing filling with the water from the sink

Hi,
Suddenly i realise today that my washing machine is filled with water from the sink. The washmachine waste piple is connected under the sink as it appears in this pic:

When ever i open the tap in the sinks the water is going thru the waste pipe. What could be the cause, will be grateful to know?[/img]

You must have a blockage somewhere. The water is not flowing freely enough and is backing up in the trap, and then siphoning back to your washer. You need to clear the blockage.
