Washing Machine leak over drum/tub

Hi,

We have a Simpson Eziset 750 washing machine which is leaking over the drum/tub. When the washing machine is spinning, the water is being spun over the drum/tub and is leaking down the inside of the machine cover onto the ground. When I move the drum/tub and look inside the machine I can see water along the inside of the machine cover. There is also water on the lid which indicates that the water is being spun high and over the drum/tub.

Does anyone know what the problem could be?

not familiar with this machine,i assume its a top loader,in which case it so
unds like the water is not being pumped out on spin.can you feel down between the inner and outer tub to see if something like a sock is blocking the tub drain outlet,failing that you need to check the pump something could be jammimg that,or if the pump is belt driven,is the belt intact.
