Hi Guys

I don't seem to have had any reply on Domestic Appliances so I thoughtg I might try you guys instead.

I have a washing machine with a semi rigid, ribbed waste pipe. On the end of the pipe is a robber collar and a small flap to each side.
Under my sink I have a waste pipe with two inlets for dishasher and washing machine. This has a screw cap over the inlet at the moment to stop any water coming out.
My washing machine pipe won't fit into the waste pipe under the sink.
Is there a converter I can get? Do I have to cut off the rubber collar? How is it secured into the under sink pipe?

Heeeeellllpp
My clothes may start to smell soon if I can't resolve the problem.

the rubber end bit should fit over the tit bit (once u have taken out the stop end piece inside it

Thanks for that suggestion but it's not a 'tit bit' like I have seen in the past. It is what looks like an opening of approx 25mm with a thread on the outer. There is a screw fitting that fits over the outer and at the moment a stopper cap blocking the opening secured by the screw fitting.

Not sure what trap you have but one I done was to attach the hose using a jubilee clip.
Failing that extend the waste pipe using a tee piece and fit a standpipe trap. :D
