Discovered a leak on the bathroom and managed to find the source, what is the best wrench to get behind her and tighten the nut?

I suspect you may have to separate the cistern from the pan to get to that nut.

There will be a rubber washer inside the tank, which makes the seal. After many years the rubber perishes (sooner if you use cistern bleach blocks). It may split if you tighten too much.

So you may need to drain the cistern and take the fitting out to replace the washer.

I don't know if there is a better washer that lasts longer.
