Hi
I have a waterside mc 250 water softener fitted with a millenium valve (same as fitted on later 350 model)
My problem is with regenaration, i have recently fitted the valve and all looks and seem well but it will not regenerate automatically, only manually.
I have tested the water after around 9 days since the last regenaration and it is hard and i have to do a manual regenaration.
We are a family of 4 (adults) and water consumption is average to high ie. washing machine, dishwasher, showers etc. so plenty of liquid going through valve.
Could this be a problem with the timer?
Any thoughts are welcomed and appreciated!
Cheers!

do a manual reset of the system and follow the install procedures step by step. don't try to skip any.

This will often solve it.

But do check that the bypass is fully closed.

Still no joy with valve, will not regenerate automatically.
Tried a reset from scratch, same outcome, will only work if i recharge manually.
Having to test water hardness every 5/6 days to see if needs regenerating.
Pain in the ****!

Any views?

Cheers!
Gary.
