Hello.

I have a Giberit hidden cistern and I can always hear water trickling, especially loudly for 20 mins after the toilet is flushed.

I can see water is spurting out of the screw bit as indicated in the photo. I’ve taken the screw cap off and washed it and cleaned all the gunk so it screws tight, but it hasn’t helped. Any ideas?

Thank you!

Replace the inlet valve diaphragm washer - it'll have a split/hole in it due to old age and allows water to pass continuously but slowly to refill the cistern and, likely, overflow down the pan.

You may need to ID the exact inlet model number, or remove the current diaphragm to match the exact replacement type you require?
