hi guys - the council installed a greenstar 28i junior combi mk 111 in my elderly mums house..trouble is the water temperature is scalding hot, i cant see anyway of tutning the water temperature down..is there a way to do it ?.ta

Our 18 month old 24i has no DHW control. The water is almost steam coming out of the taps, so much so that I'm fitting a TMV to the new basin I'm fitting when I get that new tool.....a round tooit.

The DHW temp is preset to 55 degrees. I would be getting the installer back first to go through his commissioning again. And if everything is ok but the temp is still too hot get the manufacturer out too it.

There is no knob on the right to turn the DHW temp down, only a knob on the left for CH control..gonna ring the council..this is gonna scold someone...you can't even wash yr hands after about 10 secs..cos it goes piping hot, I'm sure it's more then 55 deg..

IIRC, our MIs show an optional time switch for the CH on the right.

That second link, the panel looks like ours, but discontinued August 2007???

Yeah, that's what I thought Charn and that's direct from the WB website, just shows how long discontinued stuff can still be around for, if that's correct.

50-odd of them, fitted on the same contract?

Edit: Your first link says from July 2013, so perhaps we are on Mk 4 or Mk 5.
