I have a garage that is partially built with celcon blocks.

IS rendering the only way to waterproofing them?

One exposed wall should be easy to render (except the lower half of the wall is painted) but for other the only access is from the roof (but only the top half of the wall is exposed)

Thanks
Paul

They can be a bugger to render though, You could cover with expamet and render onto that, using a waterproofer in the mix (water resistant would be a more accurate description)

Could I just paint them with external masonry paint to stop them getting soaked all the way through?

How about putting some plastic tongue and grove on it.Some of the wide stuff, soon have it covered.

Paint will only have limited effect against driving rain.
