Does anyone else think, like I do, that the more technology weather forecasters are given, the more inaccurate their forecasts become? It seems that they cannot even get it correct overnight these days.

Yes,quite agree - being on NTL,there is a weather link on the homepage.
Often look at the 5-day forecast,which seems to bear no resemblance to the weather (e.g. on Monday,Thursday will be showery and 18C;on Tuesday,Thursday will be sunny and 21C;on Wednesday...you get the idea )

The problem is that weather is slippery stuff, it...well moves and changes..
Generally they are about 80% correct, which is about as right as they can be with current knowledge and technology. Sometimes I think that the Faces that read the weather on TV are not actual Meterologists and do not understand how to interpret the information correctly, hence some of the crap reporting.
