We are currently staying with our daughter in the UK for the Xmas period.
She has recently had a new dual fuel (gas/electric) range cooker :-
She said that the wall switch felt warm, I had a look and it felt warm to the touch with just the range clock running, I loosened the wall switch and discovered that the screw securing the neg wire on the load side was missing.
I replaced the wall switch like for like, two pole 45amp.
The wall switch still gets warm.
I have also noticed that the flexible gas hose with a bayonet fitting also gets warm.
The above happens with nothing but the range clock running.
The wiring to the wall switch is 10mm T&E.
