`Wind energy is a great idea but if it doesnt lower our energy bills, completely pointless.

It's a decision by the regulator to not lower electricity bills.

For some reason he chose to miss out the important fact that Renewables generators such as wind farms, have to give back the excess money they receive above their bid price.

It's a convoluted process.

The blame does not lie with the regulator, who follows the rules set by government.

It is to be hoped that a National power company could do better.

What a pity we don't have a publicly owned generation and transmission system,

Here is the graph showing wind power rose to its highest around midnight, as the wind increased.

It was about its highest at the time that I posted that it had increased.
