wet room shower

I am considering putting in a wet room shower in an upstairs bathroom. Good or bad idea?

Anyone recommend a good supplier for the parts? Seems like I need a tray former and suitable tanking system. Prices look high on some websites. Is this because wetrooms are not common in the UK?

If constructed right should be ok as long as the membrane and tiles are laid /fitted properly.
Would not go for it myself though as i live in a bungalow!!!!!!!!!
