Thanks for that wgt. Interesting reading. I think that Gluelam beams are what the door is made from.

No idea where to get it from either, but at least now I have a name.

Glulam isn't generally bought-in - it's pretty much always made by the factory which is producing the end product. Instead look for clear joinery grade redwood at a proper timber merchant
