What are you watching on TV right now?

Just finished watching Darkest Hour, just brilliant. Gary Oldman is incredible as Churchill. It made me think perhaps we would still all work together to fight fascism if it threatened us again.

He danced like Churchill too. ;)

Is everyone familiar with Person of Interest. It is one of my favourite shows. But I thought it might also appeal to those who worry we are being watched too much.

Last night watching a horrendous sequel to On The Buses where old Blakey goes to Spain with his skin and.

And Derrek Griffiths plays a Spanish bloke.

And then followed that with an episode of A Sharp Intake Of Breath with David Jason, Alun Armstrong and Richard Wilson.

Really interesting to see them so young!

I think I've seen that before, besides which, it regularly goes past just beyond my back garden.
Just came across this now. (re the Flying Scotsman)
I had the pleasure, as 4th engineer on the Cunard's Saxonia of transporting it to Boston in 1969?, it was lashed to the deck, I think (but mabe on a later trip) we also carried two Routemaster buses, I think it toured the States for 6 weeks or so. It was loaded in Liverpool by the floating crane Mammoth.

Untamed: just started watching and it shows promise to be as good as True Detective without the existential mumbo mixed in. Eric Bana and Sam Neill make the show interesting but the real star is the Yellowstone National Park. Stunning location shots make this a fine way to wind up a weekend.

Have taken to "Annika". Nicola Walker is one of our best actors. It's an episodic police drama set in a Scotland on waters near Glasgow.
It has been going years but it wit manages to keep watchable. It's quirky presentation, with frequent addressing of the watcher. Makes a change.

Been a bit off-colour today so just been dossing on the sofa watching 'Canal boat diaries'.

Batman and Robin. Black and white. Very early, not even Adam West as Batman. Batman doesn’t even have a Batmobile - they are running around in a regular car. So bad, it’s good!
