What are your energy costs per kWh?

My leccy was fixed at about 30p day, 20p at night.
I've just had a message that it's less than the Cap, and I still get the handout.
Jolly good, no need to think about it.

They are all catered for by a variety of methods - nobody will miss out, unless they don't pay an energy bill.

The gov's wording is too specific for me,

House 1- dual fuel. Bills estimated out over the whole year, paid via direct debit so shows credit at times.

House 2 - oil heating. Pay bills as they haven't a cat in hells chance of estimating it correctly over the year. They have even managed to get the bills wrong but easily fixed. A phone call cancelled the next bill.

I’m on a standard variable rate, also after being transferred from a failed company. We are in the area covered by SWALEC which has more expensive rates
