Agreed there noseall. The programme on over christmas about the carry on films showed that. Low budgets , short filming times and secondhand sets yet we are still left with films to watch and laugh at forty years later.Also don't forget Speilbergs first film "Duel" , I think still one of his best, one known actor Dennis Weaver an old car , an older lorry and mostly shot on a road more reading here if anyones interested http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duel_(1971_film)
 
Shawshank Redemption.

Unforgiven.

Pulp Fiction.

Could argue those 3 any which way around.
 
Mad Max (just the first one), love this film, can watch it over and over.

Clockwork Orange, just brilliant in every way.

Zatoichi, a great film, recomended to anyone who likes japanese films.


And, im going to add a sneaky fourth.

Oldboy, very good and quite unusual.
