I have a Wallace 9388 tree pruner, bought in UK but made in US, and I've lost the wing nut which secures the cutting blade. I want to identify its screw thread so I can source a replacement nut. The thread is 1/8" diameter but only 24 tip, so not a UNC or UNF type. Suggestions?

I don't know, but if it is American standard, move your measure so you can count threads per inch

And diameter of the screw.

it would be in fractions of an inch, maybe eighths or sixteenths

Look at the UNF column first.

If it is a metric screw, measure the diameter in mm.
