This is directly in front of our front door -Note the two piles of dust around the joint in the slabs. Yes, we have a dog whom we usually let out via the front, in via the back door (don't ask). Usually on her way out she examines the that area, but today I spotted the piles of dust around the joints in the slabs. It is not something she would usually do.

Thanks all, we have had lots of problems with them in the kitchen, which is at the rear. I had better do something about them, before the take up residence at the front.

I find the Nippon gel (liquid) best. It is so delicious that they take it back to the nest to share with their friends.

Put a few drops on non-absorbent surfaces such as clean coins where the workers will find it.

Unlike powders and sprays, it is not a contact poison, but a sugary food.

replace it after rain, or when it is gone or covered in dust and grit.

I find it takes less than a week.
