Today, I have been royally mucked about by B&Q. Yesterday I ordered and paid £200 for a DeWalt multi-tool on their 'click and collect' service. Received an email, come up and collect after 1.00. So, up I go and feck me, it ain’t there. They called 'Nicola' over to deal with it. 'Nicola' was a fecking bloke dressed as a bird! "Some problem with the payment" it said. Ballcocks I said and told them to cancel it. "Can’t" it said, as there’s nothing to cancel. "You’ll have to call your bank". I phoned them but busy busy effing busy so set I off home. It wasn’t until I was almost home that I spoke to a real person. They told me it had been authorised. I told them to cancel it, they said they can’t as it’s gone through, just that B&Q haven’t taken it. Now, I’ve either got to wait until it goes through or ‘naturally expires' in 5-10 working days. Wasted a good couple of hours of my time - good job I’ve got lots of it. Currently stuck in limbo.:mad::mad::mad:
A bit of a better day today. On my way back from my dog walk, I got a call from B&Q. Apparently my 'drill' was in. Anyway, went there and my multi tool was in. Hopefully the grout removing attachment will make it easier to regrout my kitchen tiles. On my way home I called in to a little backstreet shop to get some milk and they had practically everything in stock. I bought some rice and toilet rolls while I was there. Next stop the Pharmacy to pick up my Atorvastatin prescription and while there they were stacking up the paracetamols so I grabbed a couple of packs of them while I was there too. Not a bad day so far.

Devil's work those Mottie!
I know. They make me ache like a *******. I picked up three months supply today and I’ve tried a different brand. I did have one lot once that didn’t make me ache but I forgot what brand they were!

Anyway, with my new multi-tool, this afternoon I sanded down our garden bench in no time and gave it a couple of coats of wood treatment. Bloody marvellous tool although my hand was still buzzing for quite a while afterwards.

If the grout removal tool is the semi circular shaped blade, you might do well to buy a straight edged blade as well, maybe an inch or so wide, it will be easier to use near the edges.
I dismissed these tools as a gimmick for several years but reluctantly bought one to remove grout on a bathroom floor, wouldn't be without it now.
Saxton blades are a cheap online source for blades, or amazon.

Well, that went well. I specifically asked them to not give me the brand I had, TEVA, so they got me some Northstar ones. Opened the packet and....same fugging tablets. They’re going back in ten minutes. They must know which brands use the same manufacturers.

A day of mild aggro.... No different makes of atorvastatin in store so they are ordering some in for me. Next, trying to sort out a phone contract for my daughter - I took out the contract for her a while ago and had it on an £8 per month contract (£23 per month less £15 discount I negotiated) and changed it into her name as instructed by Three and they are now charging her £23 a month. Of course, they won’t talk to me now as I’m not the account holder and my daughter is "too busy!" to call them. Oh well, she can just sort it out herself then if £15 a month for nothing is too little to bother herself with. Kids! Also, just been on the phone for best part of an hour getting a £5.70 refund from TFL as it picked up my debit card instead of my 60+ Oyster card that gives me free travel. That’s the beaut of having time on your hands! What now? Ah, I know, I’ll go and make an updated list of all the food we have in the house.
