What have you been doing today?

I used to go a bit mad. Pushing myself to extremes. A very long time ago, though.

They say 220 minus your age is the maximum.
some take it to the extreme, I do it for fitness so never really push it too far. Weights are my thing. I push myself to destruction.

I found out later that it's not recommended.

I think the guidance is that you shouldn't really go above 85% of maximum.
Everyone is at different levels of strength, the weights I can handle is different to the weights that you can handle. I have been body building all of my life and so my maximum weight that I can control is a lot more. However you have to work out what is your maximum weight that you can control. This will increase as your strength does,

I meant heart rate BPM.

You shouldn't go too close to your theoretical maximum unless you know what you are doing.

Same as spin training, MBK will have probably been doing it longer and training more on spin than I have, he will be able to reach a much higher RPM than I can because of this. It is all to do with conditioning and repetitive training. Spin for me is a fitness level whereas if I tried to compete with MBK I would not reach his levels.

I know.

I made a joke and turned it into BPM.
OMG thats what I took it as, I enjoyed the spin classes but giving it a second thought after my tragedy. It is not common apparantly but I felt a right pratt limping out of the class. I just wanted the floor to swallow me up..

Im an athlete remember
