Just getting dark.

I was reading if you see them when its light they might not be well, is that right?

Yeah. I found one during the day over our allotments. It didn’t look right so I took it to our local wildlife rescue centre. The vet told me that they are nocturnal animals so if you see them in the daylight, something is wrong with them.

Bottle went and I phoned them up an hour ago. Apparently it takes "A day or two" as they are not a clearing house and it goes through Nat West. We'll see tomorrow then.

All good. My ISA transfer has just arrived. Phew! I wasn’t bothered really……….

Found a couple of old quartz watches today. One round my house, one round my mums. Both not working and I suspect it’s just the batteries. I know the one in my house was working when last put in a drawer. I’ve ordered a couple of batteries and a watch case back remover from eBay - less than £6 for all 3 items so if I can get them going, I’ll give one to my grandson and one to my granddaughter as she is always wanting to take my watches off to look at them.

OMG what a ride out here. Exceeding speed limits on these twisty roads. My bike performed amazingly well. Kept well up with Ducati and fire blades. Everyone is drinking and getting off their faces except for me. Still having a ball though.

I’m not a fan of twisty roads - I much prefer it when I can straight-line a twisty bend though.

Had a shave! I let it grow for a week, wondering whether to grow a beard, or not. It had just got to the stage of being less prickly, and I decided to shave it off. I'd let it grow, because I normally only shave in the bath. Instead, I am taking showers - The next 5 days, I have make do with showers, and using a special MRSA medication, in preparation for my catheter operation on Friday. I'm both at the same time, looking forward to it, in the hope of it helping my kidney health issues, and absolutely terrified.
