Doing well with the puppy training. She had a little grizzle when I shut her in her crate last night around 11.15 and that lasted about 10 mins after I’d turned the light out and had gone upstairs. We were watching her on the monitor and it took all our will not to go down to her but she’s got to learn to settle down by herself. I got up for a wee about 3.30 and it was all quiet so I went down to let her out in the garden for a wee (they only have tiny bladders at this age). She had a wee, I put her back in the crate and went back to bed. She grizzled for a couple of minutes and settled down. I got up at 6.00 this morning and she was wagging her tail so I let her out without making a fuss of her. So far, touch wood, she hasn’t had a poo anywhere other than in the garden.
Currently full of beans playing with her toys but I know in about 10 mins time she will nod off for an hour or two. Just like a real baby!
