Bloody kitchen extractor hood has gone wrong. Fitted it in May '24. Light won’t turn in and getting hard to turn on/off. Touch panel operated. Sent an email to the company I bought it from this morning, wasn’t really expecting an answer till next week but I’ve already had an email telling me to fill in their online repair form and they will get an engineer out to fix it under warranty. If that comes off, I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Their engineer phoned me first thing this morning. Said it sounds like the touchpad is playing up and he'll be here on Thursday to fix it. Unbelievable service in this day and age. Mind you, it ain’t done yet…..

Been and done it, took less than 10 minutes. Touchpad had come away at the back of the panel. Just a simple adjustment. I’m pleasantly surprised. Actually, I’m very f*cking happy!

Been for a blood test today for my liver and kidneys. Lena always comes with me to the Drs, she had a meeting so I went on my own. Felt really proud of myself.
