What have you bought today?

My missus made me get rid of my .22 Weihrauch HW 35, once the sprogs were able to find their way into the under-stairs cupboard. I sold it for about £40.

As I was going to uni, I swapped my HW77k for..........a JVC ghetto blaster.

As my first year was in halls of residence, and I was on the fifth or so floor, the Weihrauch would have probably been a lot more "fun"

I popped up Sainsbury’s to get a bag of ice cubes and they were selling the salmon sides off. They were half price before Christmas and they halved them again. I bought a couple and cut them up into portions to go in the freezer. We eat a lot of salmon and if I'd have had more room in the freezer, I’d have bought more. Bargain.

More bargain salmon this morning. Smoked this time for a quarter of the price. £2.25 instead of £9. I’ve cut the packs in half and frozen them. Should get a few nice breakfasts out of them. (y)

Oh, and a few cheese truckles at 31p each.

Another £88 of vet time looking at our dog to prescribe some pain killers for her dodgy left rear leg. She used her bum and the wall to go down the stairs nowdays.

Breakfast.

Local (chain) pub does an 'unlimited' buffet breakfast for £5:50. OK, drinks are extra but at 08:00 on cold winter morning after an early morning trip to take the BiL to hospital it was great!

When quite a few of us still had dogs, after our Sunday dog walk we would go to a pub that did unlimited breakfasts. We'd leave the dogs in our cars where we could keep an eye on them, have our breakfasts and then load up with sausages for the dogs before we left.

I/we've always taken either a small bag, or a takeaway type plastic box along with us, when we go out for a meal of any sort. The dog expects it when we get home.

A football rattle for my grandson as we're going to see Hornchurch v Dorking in two weeks time. My son and his wife will thank me……. :ROFLMAO:
