mother in law was asking about bonding in her bathroom, but none of the pipes are accessible, they are boxed in and sealed, under chipboard flooring, behind walls etc.no bath just shower cubicle toilet and sink, and no airing cupboard near bathroom.so how do you bond

By opening up boxing, removing bath panels, lifting boards, etc...

You could bond pipework in an adjacent airing cupboard, or under a suspended timber floor. If you do this, make sure it is accessible. If not, you can sweat bonding conductors directly to the pipes then they don't need to be accessible.

thanks securespark, how do you "sweat" a cable to a pipe. would it be ok to bond to pipes coming out of tanks in the loft.
