Can anyone confirm what IP rating i should be looking at for the following please :

1 :
For some downlighters in my garage overhang. Obviously, it is outside, so i guess could be exposed to possible condensation, but it wont have any chance of exposure to rain
The overhang is single storey so nothing above

2 :
For a downlighter in my porch ceiling
The porch is an open porch so no door on it so again, i guess it could have exposure to condensation but again, water wont have any chance unless it came down out the sky and then did a 90 degrees turn and then immediately another 90 degrees turn UPWARDS :D
Directly above the porch is my main bathroom

Can anyone advise please ?

I'll be looking at LED's to stay in Greta's good books obviously ;)

TIA

IP ratings relate to poking things in (the first figure) and dust/dirt and water splashes or jets (the second figure) - nothing to do with flooding from above - so, for the locations you describe and the regulations, it doesn't matter.

Cooling wood do a downlight designed for outside use. A H2 Pro Extreme.
