Hi

Ok I am a bit of a novice and need some basic advice I am trying to get my head around lighting and want to know what is a grid lighting system? How would you recognize a grid system and how does it differ from a normal system. I am looking at grid dimmer switches for LEDs and getting confused between normal dimmer switches a grid switches?

Thanks in advance

A grid switch is a modular means of arranging many switches.

This means you can mix regular switches, DP switches, dimmers and key switches all in the same switch plate.

I install these a lot and love them ever so much and very dearly so.

Best thing since sliced bread and other things that claim to be.

grid switch is where a variety of individual switches etc can be mounted on one faceplate. E.g. if you need a 2-way switch, an intermediate switch, and two neons, on the same faceplate. Different manufacturers' ranges are not compatible.

Dunno what grid lighting is unless it's to do with suspended ceilings.
