What is lock snapping?

Too many doors are unsafe regardless of all your locks, yrs ago it was the bottom panel in a door, wooden, cut them out with a stanley. unless your'e in a rush, then one kick.

Today is plastic, panelled, same thing if noise isn't an issue.

First thing is a solid door, good locks, three of, plus bars of good quality for when your at home, a lot of people don't realise that some doors still go in because of poor framing around the door.

And after all that door security, there's just a piece of glass between me and your goodies.

Get a good alarm, especially if your'e remote, it's easier for all burglars to go for none alarmed houses.

The old 2XG with a panel at the bottom.

You are right about the frame. At one time it was common to put a car jack across the frame and jack it sideways until the door just swung open.
