I have two of these shotgun cables in the cupboard under my stairs. One is routed to the front apex of my house (where it is hanging - unfinished - out of the brick work) and the other one, I haven't found it yet!

The previous owner have left it like this so I don't know what they were meant for. I'm guessing it could be CCTV but I'm not sure.

Pease could you help?

Thanks

Thanks.

One camera can be connected to this or multiple? What type?

Is it better to update/upgrade this cable or is it fine? Don't want to invest in equipment that is out of date that's all.

Thanks.

Standard /AHD/TVI/CVI , one camera ( you can get ip over coax but cheaper to replace cable )
I normally run a cat 5/6 and a power cable to each point so most cameras can be connected.
TVI can support up to 5mp at the moment over standard coax
