What size are washing machne pipe connectors

Hi all,
One of the unused washing machine water connectors in an out house is leaking. This is the valved screw thread onto which the flexible hoses are connected to provide water to washing machines.

I dont want to change it yet, but would like to fit a cap to it, to stop it leaking on the floor. What size cap would I need to screw onto the thread that the old washing machine pipes used to screw onto?
