What size splash shoe?

Thanks for this. Yes the 2 1/2 inch (65mm) cast iron shoes on this site are identical to the others I’ve seen on other sites.

I’m still no clearer on how a 65mm pipe goes into a 65mm shoe. They don’t provide any tech specs or drawings of them on the sites so I can’t check for clarity.

I’m not willing to fork out £20 non refundable delivery charges to find i’ve ordered the wrong size.

Like I said earlier up thread, if it means I’ve got to order a 75mm cast iron shoe and seal the inevitable 1cm gap between it and my downpipe, that’s what i’ll do but i’m looking for some clarification before I go ahead and purchase.

I’ve emailed a couple of suppliers and asked for technical specs so hopefully i’ll get a better understanding of how the modern cast iron sizing and systems work. My existing cast iron pipes are of the original variety.
