Just a thought.. Would buying and errecting own scaffolding be viable in the roofing trade?

Yep; At least we could replace a window, a front door, replace kitchen worktops/hobs without any certification etc etc., now the electricians/plumbers and kitchen fitters etc have picked up bldy paintbrushes

Plumbing has been crucified by Roofers .Roofline . Gas Safe. D*** Rod aka Brit Gas . I`m going to have to pick up the painting tools left by my old Dad - luckily he taught me too My pension is turning very sour rapidly - I just hate the idea of a small ad. saying" Handyman"
